Husky Sing and Scooba Steve were slow to begin. 

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after a bird (plover) was positioned on the track on the first turn as the greyhounds approached. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.

Wasn't Easy and Sparkle Pants were quick to begin. Suffolk Park was slow to begin. Husky Bailey was very slow to begin. 

It was noted that the muzzle of Solar Ebony became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Thermal Smoke and Zipping Velma were slow to begin. Auntie Amber was very slow to begin. 

Crackerjack Reed underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 8. Crackerjack Reed was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan Cooper regarding Crackerjack Reed’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Crackerjack Reed was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cooper pleaded guilty to the charge. Crackerjack Reed must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Aussie Flame. 

Solar Tess and Aussie Flame were quick to begin. Husky Sara Lee, Sugar Shine and Maximum Reed were slow to begin. 

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Kentucky Gus. 

Sylvan Lake was quick to begin. Jenny Bale was slow to begin. 

Paltrow Bale (faltered soon after the start and tailed off) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right sartorius muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.  

Zipping Gian and Shaka Big Tonks collided on the first turn severely checking Zipping Gian and causing Shaka Big Tonks to fall. These two greyhounds underwent post-race veterinary examinations:

Zipping Gian – no apparent injury was reported.

Shaka Big Tonks was found to have injuries to the left gracilis and tensor fascia lata muscles.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Urith Bale was quick to begin.  Paw Louis, Rouge Knight and County Kildare were slow to begin.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Urith Bale - the winner of the event.

First Crack – Late scratching at 5:04pm due to the greyhound being on season [GAR 77]. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Nothing Wrong was quick to begin. Hurricane Bert was slow to begin. 

Hurricane Bert (raced awkwardly on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triceps muscle and left triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lakeview Heather. 

Crackerjack Rob was slow to begin. Lala Rapid was very slow to begin. 

Lakeview Heather (lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock sprain and a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ivory Narwhal was quick to begin. 

A post-race urine sample was taken from Crank It - the winner of the event. 

Clifford Bale was quick to begin. Airbourne Shaun was slow to begin. 

Airbourne Shaun (checked on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Pyrenees Chateau - the winner of the event. 

A urine sample was taken from Paw Olympia upon arrival at the course.

Kiyeng and Wisdom Bale were quick to begin. Paw Hunter was slow to begin. 

Freeman Bale was quick to begin. My Boy Harvey was very slow to begin. 

Iason Bale (severely checked on the first turn and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Luke Harris to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Iason Bale in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Pyreness Blazer (severely checked on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a lost nail on the left hind foot. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
