Steward's Report
Akina Jazz was quick to begin.
Aston Valour turned its head on the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was revetted after race 12 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Berry regarding the greyhound's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Aston Valour was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Berry pleaded guilty to the charge and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
