Steward's Report
Mina Max was quick to begin. Episode Five was slow to begin.
Paw Tempe underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Paw Tempe turned in the boxes, took no competitive part in the race and was placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 106(1) and pursuant to GAR 132.
Feisty Amy turned it's head inwards soon after the start and following the 150m. Feisty Amy underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right fibula injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Jimmy Holt regarding Feisty Amy's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Feisty Amy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Holt pleaded guilty to the charge. Feisty Amy must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
It was noted that the muzzle of Are You Okay became partially dislodged during the running of the event.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Mina Max - the winner of the event.
