Steward's Report
Sharni's Boy was slow to begin.
Hurricane Daisy underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Victoria Sultana regarding Hurricane Daisy’s performance and racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Ms Sultana, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Hurricane Daisy unsatisfactory. Hurricane Daisy must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Sandy Bale pulled up on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Sandy Bale was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
