This race was rescheduled to 10:48 due to a medical emergency on course.
Pachacuti was quick to begin. Purple Flynn and Platinum Emotion were slow to begin. Purple Flynn checked off Gold Gelleon approaching the first turn. Platinum Emotion crossed to the rail on the first turn and fell as a result, checking Gold Galleon which fell as a result. Select Sanz raced wide on the first turn.
Purple Flynn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf/ achillies injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Platinum Emotion was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bolar Blade trialled over the 520 metres from box 1, weight 27.8kg the greyhound was placed 4 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.82, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.50 lengths. Bolar Blade was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Omega Clover trialled over the 311 metres from box 1, weight 34.4kg the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.80, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.50 lengths. Omega Clover was Cleared.
Following the running of event 6 an ambulance required on course to attend to an ill participant. The remaing races were put back one race/ rescheduled, with race 12 starting at 10:48pm.
