King Humpty was a late scratching at 12:31pm by order of stewards (Sold). A 10 Day stand down period was imposed. 

Yon Bonnie Brae was quick to begin. Sweet About Lola was slow to begin. Francol and Champer Bale collided soon after the start. Panda Bale, Francol and Champer Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Panda Bale and Francol. Panda Bale and Francol collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. City Rambler and Panda Bale collided on the second turn. Champer Bale and Ivy Bale collided several times on the home turn. Sweet About Lola checked off Champer Bale entering the home straight. 

Miss Ainsleigh was slow to begin. Elfie stumbled soon after the start. Elfie and Miss Ainsleigh collided soon after the start. Waterfront and Magic Kara collided on the first turn, checking Waterfront. Miss Ainsleigh and Black Arora collided on the fist turn. Big Vee raced wide on the first turn. 

Ray Minarelli, representative of Lovey redeclared a new weight of 28.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lovey last raced at 26.8kg.

Buckle Up Lara was quick to begin. My Baby Porscha and Here Comes Alex were slow to begin. Aston Dareh galloped on Tequila Sun approaching the first turn, severely checking Lovey and Tequila Sun. Lovey contaced the running rail on the home turn. Aston Dareh and Here Comes Alex collided entering the home straight, checking Aston Dareh.

Buckle Up Lara was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle muscle and left calf injury: a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Tell Me Ma and Buckle Up Axel were slow to begin. Zatmine, Tell Me Ma and Buckle Up Axel collided soon after the start, checking Zatmine and Tell Me Ma. Tell Me Ma raced wide approaching the second turn. Shawshank and Buckle Up Axel collided on the second turn, checking Shawshank.

Tell Me ma was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left metacarpal and a right triangle injury; a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards noted that handler Donna Dean had difficulty in boxing the greyhound Dora's Hand. Stewards will be directing that Dora's Hand be boxed first in future events.

Following the running of this event an ambulance required on course to attend to an ill participant. The remaing races were put back one race/ rescheduled, with race 12 starting at 10:48pm.

This race was rescheduled to 9:08pm due to a medical emergency on course.

One Cup Short was quick to begin. Survivor Sal and Tangible were slow to begin. Tangible checked off Adam Handler approaching the first turn. Tangible raced wide on the first turn. One Cup Short checked off Adam Handler in the back straight.

Wicked Wendy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

This race was rescheduled to 9:28pm.due to a medical emergency on course.

Cool Mikado, Dyna Nihilist and Bayman Bale were slow to begin. Bayman Bale raced wide soon after the start. Cool Mikado checked off Explosive Angel soon after the start. Andiamo Neo, Ko Ko Mikado and Bayman Bale collided on the first turn, checking Bayman Bale and severely checking Ko Ko Mikado. Explosive Angel and Cool Miakdo collided on the second turn, checking Explosive Angel. Andiamo Neo and Wealthy Schooner collided on the home turn. 

Bayman Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind toe injury; a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Quara Bale was to quick to begin. Tilly's Tempa and Emotional Lass were slow to begin. Quara Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Zephyr Zap, Elanora Beach, Elite Watch and Twistex. Emotional Lass, Twistex and Elite Watch collided on the first turn, checking Emotional Lass. Twistex and Elanora Beach collided approaching the home turn. Twistex contacted the running rail on the home turn. Tilly's Tempa and Zephyr Zap collided on the home turn.

Miss Geeves and Money To Burn collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Crowdza Chanting faltered on the first turn, checking Dublin Dandy, Jewel Bale and Miss Geeves and severely checking London Town, Money To Burn and Tornado Angel; Crowdza Chanting tailed off as a result. Dublin Dandy and Miss Geeves collided entering the home straight, checking Miss Geeves. 

Crowdza Chanting was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metatarsal injury; a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

This race was rescheduled to 10:30pm due to a medical emergency on course.

Loyal Miss was quick to begin. Little Boots and Mohawk Mako were slow to begin. Wia Good galloped on Loyal Miss approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Little Boots checked off All Starzar approaching the first turn. Baker's Tab, Wia Good, Loyal Miss and Magic Meehan collided on the first turn, checking Loyal Miss, Baker's Tab and Magic Meehan. All Starzar and Mohawk Mako collided on the first turn, checking Mohawk Mako and Little Boots. All Starzar raced wide on the first turn and collided with Magic Meehan as a result.

Loyal Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Pachacuti was quick to begin. Purple Flynn and Platinum Emotion were slow to begin. Purple Flynn checked off Gold Gelleon approaching the first turn. Platinum Emotion crossed to the rail on the first turn and fell as a result, checking Gold Galleon which fell as a result. Select Sanz raced wide on the first turn. 

Purple Flynn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf/ achillies injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Platinum Emotion was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

 Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bolar Blade trialled over the 520 metres from box 1, weight 27.8kg the greyhound was placed 4 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.82, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.50 lengths. Bolar Blade was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Omega Clover trialled over the 311 metres from box 1, weight 34.4kg the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.80, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.50 lengths. Omega Clover was Cleared.

Following the running of event 6 an ambulance required on course to attend to an ill participant. The remaing races were put back one race/ rescheduled, with race 12 starting at 10:48pm.
