Gaelic Flyer was quick to begin.  Zou Zou Nee and Gaelic Tralee collided soon after the start checking Zou Zou Nee. One Mid and Riverside Wade collided on the first turn checking Gaelic Tralee and Make Papa Proud .Gaelic Flyer and Bozumolu collided approaching the home turn checking Bozumolu.  Riverside Wade galloped on Bozumolu approaching the home turn severely checking Bozumolu and Gaelic Tralee. Simply Maybe and Zou Zou Nee collided in the home straight.

Hold On Nitro, Suedon Belle and Racing Ruby collided soon after the start.  Dr. Peekaboo, Hold On Nitro, Suedon Belle and Racing Ruby collided approaching the first turn checking Suedon Belle causing Hold On Nitro to fall.  Ragtime Jaymee checked off Inter Lucy on the first turn.  Ragtime Jaymee clipped the heels of Black Alabar approaching the home turn.  Suedon Belle and Ragtime Jaymee collided entering the home straight.  Racing Ruby checked off Ragtime Jaymee entering the home straight.

Hold On Nitro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left hip, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Tooradale was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Dr. Gotcha turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event.  Taminick Girl and Plaza Boy collided soon after the start and again on the first checking Taminick Girl, causing Tooradale to gallop on Taminick Girl, severely checking both greyhounds. 

Tooradale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Taminick Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated toe and soreness to both back muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Gotcha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left hind carpal, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards established that Dr. Gotcha  turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Dr. Gotcha was placed on a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks.

Conclave was a late scratching at 11:00am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms W. Duve was fined the sum of $100.

Blu Light Banjo and Robartette were slow to begin.  Flywheel Special and Blu Light Banjo collided approaching the first turn.  Flywheel Special and Dr. Hamish collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Thyme To Rock and Robartette collided on the first turn.

After, St. Victory, Ketchum and Black Typhos collided soon after the start.  St. Victory galloped on the heels of Ketchum on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Love Capers and Macalister Mary collided approaching the home turn checking Love Capers.  Good Luck Punk and Macalister Mary collided entering the home straight checking Macalister Mary.

Flaming Bob, Smoking Rosie and Buckle Up Brett were slow to begin.  Where's Neo, Smoking Rosie and Jungle Warfare collided soon after the start.  Good For You and Where's Neo collided approaching the first turn checking Smoking Rosie.  Where's Neo and Smoking Rosie collided on the first turn.  Flaming Bob checked off Jungle Warfare on the first turn checking Buckle Up Brett.

Money To Burn, Buckle Up Angus and Remembrance Day were slow to begin.  Money To Burn and Boom Boom Shiraz collided approaching the first turn.  Buckle Up Angus clipped the heels of Rulla Ronaldo on the first turn.
