J. Perkins, trainer of Super Dot redeclared a new weight of 25.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Super Dot last raced at 23.8kg.
Feral Beryl and Trias were slow to begin. Montane checked off Liam approaching the first turn. Feral Beryl and Super Dot collided on the first turn checking Super Dot. Feral Beryl checked off Hoi Polloi approaching the home turn. Misty Febey and Hoi Polloi collided approaching the home turn.
Trias was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right back coupling (hip). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
