Apidra's Double was slow to begin.  Schumacher and May It Be collided soon after the start, checking May It Be and Pretty Bale.  Schumacher and Tiger's Hero collided approaching the first turn.  Pretty Bale checked off Zabimaru Bale approaching the first turn.  Zabimaru Bale, May It Be and Apidra's Double collided approaching the first turn, checking May It Be and Apidra's Double.  Hula, Schumacher, Go Go Treetment and Tiger's Hero collided on the first turn, severely checking Hula and Go Go Treetment, causing both greyhounds to race wide.

Apidra's Double was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hock and right hamstring, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hula was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury was found.

Mechatronic checked off War Room approaching the second turn.  Dyna Fulcrum and Macca's Sway collided approaching the second turn.  Olive's Gift checked off Wind Whistler on the fourth turn.  War Room and Dyna Fulcrum collided approaching the home turn.  Mechatronic and War Room collided on the home turn.  Macca's Sway checked off Wind Whistler entering the home straight.
