Smooth Honey was a late scratching at 12:07pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to slight dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Baroness Jill was very slow to begin (2 lengths). Ashanti Crown checked off Prancing Magic approaching the first turn. Baroness Jill and Ashanti Crown collided on the first turn. Prancing Magic, Eumeralla Dessy and Valentine Belle collided approaching the home turn checking Eumeralla Dessy. Prancing Magic and Valentine Belle collided approaching the home turn checking Valentine Belle. Valentine Belle and Lizzibee collided in the home straight.
