Steward's Report
Mr. G. Johnson, trainer of Release The Heat redeclared a new weight of 35.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Release The Heat last raced at 33.9kgs.
Why Not Donna was quick to begin. Release The Heat was slow to begin. Golden Meleni and Stylish Ruler collided approaching the first turn. Daintree Warrior, Skeet With Grace and Why Not Donna collided on the first turn checking Skeet With Grace which stumbled and checked Stylish Ruler as a result. Ledaro Dash raced wide on the home turn.
Stylish Ruler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to its right foreleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
