Braemar Jeannie (visibly eased approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Yvonne Cassidy regarding Braemar Jeannie’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Braemar Jeannie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Cassidy pleaded guilty to the charge. Braemar Jeannie was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pretty Goldie (visibly eased approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 4 - no apparent injury was reported. Pretty Goldie Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Lund regarding Pretty Goldie’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Pretty Goldie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge. Pretty Goldie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Terrorising Tom (marred Braemar Jeannie on the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions and bruising to the right achilles. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Lindsay Fulford regarding Terrorising Tom’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Terrorising Tom was charged with marring. Mr. Fulford pleaded guilty to the charge. Terrorising Tom was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Desmond McPhie was reminded of his responsibilities for failing to follow the Starter's orders when boxing Ballymac Storm, pursuant to GAR 105.

This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to operational matters.

I'm A Treasure, Sand Dunes and Atomic Secret were slow to begin.

Atomic Secret (checked on the first turn and lost ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race urine sample was taken from Just Like Audrey - the winner of the event.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Rooftop Shout became partially dislodged during the running of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Graham Gieschen regarding the difficulty in boxing Just Like Audrey in this event. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 106(2) and Stewards will continue to monitor the box manners of Just Like Audrey at future starts.

Olympic History and Come Catch Me were quick to begin.

Spirit Of Duke (severely checked on the first turn and lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Arka River (severely checked on the first turn and lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Go Astray was quick to begin. Mega Banjo Boy and Enraged were slow to begin.

Matriarch Shell, Nacho Cookie and Kaos Control were quick to begin. 

Mira Bale and Little Venice were quick to begin. Jams Nible was slow to begin. 

Mira Bale, Sky High Dreams and Sons Of Tom raced wide in the home straight.

Kid Carnage and Bomber's Lady were slow out.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Tammy Kennedy-Harris, the representative of Neena Bale, after the greyhound stayed in the starting boxes for a considerable period and took no competitive part in the event. Neena Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 129, Neena Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Audacious Livvy was quick to begin. Iron Tyson and Valve Bounce were slow to begin.

Woodside Cruiser was quick to begin. Scotch Neat was slow to begin.

Dunsmore Flyer was quick to begin. Kraken Hook was slow to begin.

Dunsmore Flyer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Heavy Metal was quick to begin. Green Can Lad was slow to begin.

Snowy Alford (lost ground approaching the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Kenzie Kid - the winner of the event.

Urine samples were taken from Zappy Bale and Stellar Career upon arrival to the course. 

Racing was indefinitely delayed at 3:08pm due to a power issue with the compressor for the automated lure flap on the catching pen gate. Track maintenance staff converted the lure flap to manual and the event was re-scheduled to 3:25pm. 

Inter Trigon was quick to begin. Stellar Career was slow to begin.

Lady Montana - Fail To Chase – Field of 4, Distance: 400m, Weight: 25.0 kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time Run 23.31 – Comment: Cleared All Tracks except, Sandown and Healesville.
