Steward's Report
Bamera was slow to begin.
Chop (turned it's head inwards approaching the 50m and winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right deltoid muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Gerard O'keeffe regarding Chop’s racing manners approaching the 50m and winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Chop was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr O'keeffe pleaded guilty to the charge. Chop was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
