Steward's Report
Balloon Head was slow to begin.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Bingo Dash - the winner of the event.
Scarlett's Gem (faltered approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. John Mangion regarding the racing manners of Scarlett's Gem approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Mangion, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
