Zipping Mork – Late scratching at 8.36am due to non-arrival, with permission of Stewards (GAR 86 and LR 39). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non-arrival, no stand down period was imposed.
Calm The Storm and Big Boy Andre were slow to begin.
So Sudden (lost ground on the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left long head triceps muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Yeah Sweetie - winner of the event.
