Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Mystic Love.
Saintly Sal was slow to begin.
Olivia Express (visibly eased approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Alfred Spiteri regarding Olivia Express’ racing manners approaching the winning post. Mr. Spiteri declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Olivia Express was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Spiteri pleaded guilty to the charge. Olivia Express was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
