Steward's Report
Bumpy's Dad Roy and Jebediah were quick to begin.
- Aston Hartlett underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
- Aston Houston underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr. Grant Fullerton regarding the performances of Aston Hartlett and Aston Houston in this event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fullerton, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performances of Aston Hartlett and Aston Houston unsatisfactory; both greyhounds must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nominations will be accepted.
Stewards noted that the semaphore board incorrectly showed 'Race 4' immediately after the running of this event. This was corrected to 'Race 5' prior to the All Clear being given.
