Steward's Report
Wild Venus was slow to begin.
Rob The Butcher (turned head inwards approaching the winning post) underwent a post-race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Terry Meyer regarding Rob The Butcher’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Rob The Butcher was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Meyer pleaded not guilty to the charge. Rob The Butcher was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
