Steward's Report
Put It Together and Bluey's Dash were slow to begin.
Put It Together (turned its head to the outside approaching the 200m mark) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Murray Collyer regarding the racing manners of Put It Together approaching the 200m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Put It Together was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Collyer pleaded not guilty to the charge. Put It Together was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
