Put It Together and Bluey's Dash were slow to begin.

Put It Together (turned its head to the outside approaching the 200m mark) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Murray Collyer regarding the racing manners of Put It Together approaching the 200m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Put It Together was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Collyer pleaded not guilty to the charge. Put It Together was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Norm's Princess – Late scratching at 8:07am due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised Mr. Jimmy Holt that evidence of the matter which caused the non-arrival will need to be submitted to Stewards. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. The 28 day stand down was lifted in accordance with GAR 86 after the Stewards were provided with satisfactory evidence as to the circumstances of the withdrawal. 

Ignatius Rose was slow to begin.

Waltzing Inferno was slow to beign. 

Small Heath – Late scratching at 8:08am due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised Mr. Jimmy Holt that evidence of the matter which caused the non-arrival will need to be submitted to Stewards. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. The 28 day stand down was lifted in accordance with GAR 86 after the Stewards were provided with satisfactory evidence as to the circumstances of the withdrawal. 

Polly Rocket – New declared weight of 28.4kg, last raced at 27.0kg.

Glorious Glory - Mr Geoff Smith was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr. Smith were noted and a pre-race urine sample was taken for analysis.

Romena Charm was quick to begin. Whizzer was slow to begin. 

Polly Rocket (faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

She Can Dream and Destini Spitfire were quick to begin. Elusive Barb stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. 

Demonic Spirit – Late scratching at 8:08am due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards advised Mr. Jimmy Holt that evidence of the matter which caused the non-arrival will need to be submitted to Stewards. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. The 28 day stand down was lifted in accordance with GAR 86 after the Stewards were provided with satisfactory evidence as to the circumstances of the withdrawal. 

Larry Intention was slow to begin.

Iowa Lass (lost ground from the 200m mark) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mrs. Darlene McIntyre to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Iowa Lass in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Disco Gizmo - the winner of the event. 

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Down South Girl.

Down South Girl and Mystic Love were quick to begin. Cathy's Dream was slow to begin. 

Pretty Panama and Especial Speed were quick to begin. Zipping Olaf was slow to begin. 

Path To Nirvana went up with the lids and was slow to begin.
