Gaping Margin – Late scratching at 6:42am when Mr. Brendan Pursell reported the greyhound to be vomiting (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter, Mr. John Nicholls did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Nizhoni was quick to begin. Zipping Crusader was slow to begin.
