El Crimp Adore and Jeremy Spoke were slow to begin.
Bye Georgie faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Stitch And Shout underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind abrasion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it suitable for racing.
