Steward's Report
Phantom Rex was slow to begin.
Upper's Flyer lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Rosalie Kerr regarding the racing manners of Upper's Flyer over the concluding stages of the event. After hearing submissions from Mrs. Kerr, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
