Gylos Move and Spicy Piper were quick to begin. Black Pistol was slow to begin.

Phantom Rex was slow to begin.

Upper's Flyer lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Rosalie Kerr regarding the racing manners of Upper's Flyer over the concluding stages of the event. After hearing submissions from Mrs. Kerr, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.

A urine sample was taken from Quest For Dreams upon arrival at the course.

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Quest Of Dreams.

El Crimp Adore and Jeremy Spoke were slow to begin.

Bye Georgie faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Stitch And Shout underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind abrasion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it suitable for racing.

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Bucket Of Oil.

Easy Pie, Sir Coleman and Bucket Of Oil were slow to begin.

Sir Coleman faltered on the first turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Flying Ryker and Kid Carnage were slow to begin. 

Braemar Molly – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.

Pretty Treasure – Late scratching at 13:24 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to right stifle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Kokoda Trail and Another Story were quick to begin. 

Concrete Egan was severely checked and stumbled approaching the first turn, subsequently forcing the greyhound over the outside fence. Concrete Egan pulled up as a result and underwent a post-race veterinary examination. Concrete Egan was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury and abrasions to the left radius, right wrist and left calf. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Craig Treasure was issued with a warning under GAR156(f)(ii) for negligence, after retrieving the incorrect greyhound from the kennels prior to the running of this event. Similarly, Club Officials were reminded of their responsibilities and the matter was referred to the Club Manager.

Chilli Pepper and Italics were quick to begin. Soda Diesel and I'm A Treasure were slow to begin. 

Bandari was quick to begin.

Starlight Tyson – Late scratching at 13:49 due to weight variation (GAR 101). Starlight Tyson is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Ms. C Fulford was fined $100.

Super Speed – 6 month - Solo, Distance: 400m, Weight: 31.2kg, Box 3, Pulled up in the home straight – Comment: Not Cleared. Super Speed underwent a post-trial veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
