Vital Step (severely checked and stumbled entering the back straight and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind spike wound. No stand down period was imposed.
Canya Explode underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hind sesamoid injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
