Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Chain Drive.
Inga Linda was quick to begin. Sonic Sonny and Chain Drive were slow to begin.
Power Innings and Rapidfire Serena raced wide in the home straight.
Inga Linda [led to the first turn and lost considerable ground thereafter], underwent a post–race veterinary examination, and after being re-vetted following Race 10, the greyhound was found to have a left carpal sprain and right tensor fascia lata muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative - Mr. Michael Mitchell, regarding the overall performance of Inga Linda in this event, and after taking into consideration the injuries sustained to the greyhound, took no further action.
Mr. Ronald McCullagh was reminded of his responsibilities to follow the Starter's orders when boxing Chain Drive pursuant to GAR 105.
