Running Thief faltered on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Quested Bale faltered on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs Tammy Kennedy-Harris regarding the racing manners of Quested Bale on the home turn. Acting in accordance with GAR 19(3)(w), a veterinary certificate of fitness is required, before any further nominations are accepted for Quested Bale.

Esfahan fell entering the catching pen, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Fire Feather fell entering the catching pen, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Speed Merchant and Letter To You were quick to begin. Enraged was slow to begin.

Chrissy Hand was quick to begin. Black Prestige went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Clan Mcmillan was quick to begin. Ring A Dusty was slow to begin.

Gigantor was slow to begin. Gigantor raced wide in the back straight.

Lady Rampage was severely checked by Little Whip on the first turn and subsequently fell. Lady Rampage underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right triangle injuries. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Fiesty Lass, Unchained and Hurricane Pat were slow to begin. 

Xarn Bale turned its head outwards and marred Belushi in the home straight. Xarn Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Tammy Kennedy-Harris regarding Xarn Bale's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Xarn Bale was charged with marring. Mrs. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge. Xarn Bale was suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Moraine Tom and She's Roses were quick to begin. 

Majestic Bale – Late scratching at 1:55pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms. Tammy Kennedy-harris was fined $100.

The start of this event was aborted and deemed a false start due to an incident boxing the greyhound River Matt. All boxed greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes, these greyhounds underwent an examination by the On-Track Veterinarian, and subsequently passed fit to race in accordance with GAR 110(7). The race was delayed by approximately five minutes whilst this occurred. The race commenced at 6:31pm.

Woodroffe was slow to begin.

River Matt – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 106.
