Steward's Report
Brandenburg – Late scratching at 6:34am when Ms. B. Robertson-Leech reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from George Mcfly.
Bear Lee Bond was slow to begin.
Bear Lee Bond (faltered and pulled up in the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a right chest muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Webb regarding the racing manners of Tame The Beast in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Webb, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Due to a technical malfunction there was no semaphore board display for this event.
