Dyna Digger was slow to begin. Brenna Bale and Godsend collided soon after the start. Daintree Silk, Premier Boloney and Dyna Lowell collided soon after the start checking Premier Boloney. Linden Magpie and Allen Elroy collided approaching the first turn. Brenna Bale, Godsend and Daintree Silk collided approaching the first turn checking Daintree Silk. Linden Magpie and Allen Elroy collided on the first turn checking Allen Elroy. Daintree Silk, Premier Boloney and Dyna Digger collided on the first turn checking Daintree Silk and Dyna Digger.
