From The Heart was slow out. Linden Flame, One More Spin and Linden Riley collided soon after the start. April Fools Day was checked off the heels of Linden Riley approaching the first turn. Shannara Zee, One More Spin and Maggie's Alarm collided approaching the first turn. Shannara Zee and April Fools Day collided on the first turn checking April Fools Day. Linden Flame and Linden Riley collided on the third turn. Shannara Zee was checked off the heels of Linden Riley approaching the home turn. April Fools Day raced wide in the home straight.
Linden Riley was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Steward's spoke to Mr. A. Ferguson, the trainer of the greyhound Linden Riley. Steward's deemed the performance of Linden Riley unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 101, Steward's directed that Linden Riley must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
