Ginger Shot and Bartley Blue were slow out and collided soon after the start. Bartley Blue and Arvo's Tayah collided on the first turn checking Bartley Blue. Kickaway Jess galloped on the heels of Rebecca De Rio approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Kickaway Jess and Leo's Star collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Kickaway Jess and Mattori collided approaching the winning post.
