Dunlin was a late scratching at 12.30pm due to illness.
Tidal Prince, Your Go Amigo and Sooty Grunter were slow out. Bob's Break and Roaming Kid collided approaching the first turn. Roaming Kid was checked off the heels of Your Go Amigo on the first turn checking Bob's Break, Fortune Hazzit, Tidal Prince and Sooty Grunter. Risky Runner and Your Go Amigo collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Risky Runner, Your Go Amigo and Bob's Break collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds, Bob's Break stumbled as a result.
