Steward's Report
Eastern Broker, Merlerich and Supa Shock were slow out. Poono Loodo was checked soon after the start. Eastern Broker, Champion and Merlerich collided on the first turn, checking Eastern Broker and Merlerich. Merlerich and Poono Loodo collided on the home turn. Champion checked off the heels of Merlerich in the home straight. Lansley Skye checked off Coringle West in the home straight.
Following the running of the event, stewards questioned lure driver, Mr. Chris Moore, regarding the approximate eight second delay of the forward motion of the lure after the green light was semaphored from the starting boxes. Moore stated that he did not notice that the light was semaphored for what he believed to be just a short moment. Stewards reprimanded Moore and, advised him to concentrate on the task at hand.
