Nugget Choice went up with the lids at box rise and was slow out. Omega Eli and Hips Don't Lie collided approaching the first turn checking Hips Don't Lie. Dr. Saskay and Omega Eli collided approaching the first turn severely checking Dr. Saskay. Omega Eli crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Nugget Choice. Hips Don't Lie and Seismic Texan collided on the first turn. Omega Eli and Seismic Texan collided on the home turn.
Dr. Saskay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
