Steward's Report
Cool Madra and Belron Bingle were slow to begin. Cool Madra checked off the heels of Sienna Rose approaching the first turn. Cool Madra contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Lady Spinello and Premier Pizazz collided on the first turn checking Premier Pizazz. Sienna Rose, Burra Gold and Resistor collided on the first turn checking Sienna Rose and Burra Gold causing Belron Bingle to race wide. Resistor galloped on the heels of Premier Pizazz on the first turn severely checking Resistor which fell. Sienna Rose crossed to the outside approaching the second turn checking Burra Gold and Premier Pizazz. Premier Pizazz and Burra Gold collided on the second turn.
Cool Madra was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Resistor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front laceration, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to R.Partington regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Belron Bingle. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that Belron Bingle be boxed first in future events.
