Frosty Chompers, Billy Burst and Bridget Imlach collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds, Bridget Imlach raced wide as a result. Fashionably Late, Anesthetist and Billy Burst collided on the second turn checking Frosty Chompers, Kansas Moonlight and Billy Burst. Frosty Chompers galloped on the heels of Billy Burst entering the back straight checking Billy Burst and severely checking Frosty Chompers. Kansas Moonlight and Bridget Imlach collided entering the back straight. Kansas Moonlight checked off the heels of Anesthetist on the third turn checking Bridget Imlach.
