Pristine Justice, Ultimate Refund and Golden Blossom collided on the first turn checking Ultimate Refund and Golden Blossom. Wiccan Ways contacted the running rail on the first turn. Golden Blossom and Nickel Creek collided approaching the second turn severely checking Golden Blossom, Nickel Creek and Olivares. Oh Leary eased on the second turn. Cairnlea Claire and Oh Leary collided entering the back straight checking Oh Leary and severely checking Cairnlea Claire. Oh Leary and Nickel Creek collided approaching the home turn. Pristine Justice and Wiccan Ways collided on the home turn checking Pristine Justice. Cairnlea Claire was vetted and revetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to D.Knocker the trainer of Cairnlea Claire and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Stewards deemed the performance of Cairnlea Claire unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Cairnlea Claire must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted. Acting under GAR 69(1)(b) Stewards charged Oh Leary with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Cranbourne and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
