Steward's Report
Teianna's Tears went up with the lids at box rise, and was slow to begin. Lee Cheree was slow to begin. Azuma Bale and Cophan Light collided soon after the start. George Dawson, Lee Cheree and Cophan Light collided on the first turn, checking Lee Cheree and Cophan Light, and severely checking Junior Rhode, Junior Rhode stumbled and lost ground as a result. Per Gessel checked off the heels of Paul Wayne on the first turn checking Azuma Bale, and severely checking George Dawson. Lee Cheree and Teianna's Tears collided approaching the home turn. Lee Cheree and Per Gessel collided on the home turn.
Junior Rhode was vetted following the running of the event, found to be injured (Left Hind), and will stand down for 5 days.
