Steward's Report
Maybe Mick was a late scratching at 4:35pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Tom Tukan was slow out. Dr. Sharon, Dr. Lynette and Little Buddha collided soon after the start checking Dr. Sharon and Dr. Lynette. Daintree Dream checked off Why Not King on the first turn. Tom Tukan and Bart Jordan collided approaching the home turn. Dr. Sharon and Why Not King collided approaching the winning post.
Why Not King was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor spike wounds to both hind legs. No stand down penalty was applied.
