Steward's Report
Comet Cruiser was a late scratching at 4:00pm due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Sizzling Cash and Sooki Stackhouse were slow out. Cotter Pin and Tara Thornton collided soon after the start severely checking Cotter Pin which stumbled and losing considerable ground and tailed off as a result. Fabio Prince and Cool Tilli collided on the second turn. Tara Thornton checked off Cool Tilli approaching the home turn. Sizzling Cash and Sooki Stackhouse collided on the home turn. Cool Tilli checked off Sizzlin' Friz entering the home straight checking Tara Thornton.
Cotter Pin was was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Sizzlin' Friz - the winner of the event.
