State Of Power, Whelan and White Grease were slow out. Vincent Chase and Select Star collided approaching the first turn. Vincent Chase, Select Star and Whelan collided on the first turn checking Vincent Chase and White Grease severely checking Select Star and Whelan; Select Star stumbled as a result. Arnie's Girl crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Ando's Octane and Zippstar. Whelan and White Grease collided approaching the home turn checking Whelan.
