Steward's Report
Bush Flyer, Great Lee and Leica were slow out. Blinman Hero and Bush Flyer collided soon after the start checking Bush Flyer and Great Lee. Honorah's Lad checked off the heels of Blinman Hero on the first turn checking Schauman. Great Lee checked off the heels of Oizdon Express on the first turn. Oizdon Express and Extra Burst collided approaching the second turn. Great Lee and Leica collided approaching the second turn. Honorah's Lad and Schauman collided approaching the home turn checking Schauman. Schauman and Great Lee collided on the home turn. Schauman and Bush Flyer collided entering the home straight.
Schauman was vetted following the Event and Dr. Narelle Cribb, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right monkey muscle and a sand burn to the left hind. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Cribb, the Stewards will stand Schauman down from competing for 3 days.
