Steward's Report
Discover, Spitfire Jet and Petite Mamselle were slow out. Dyna Valenski and Sunlit Ahoy collided soon after the start. Ryght Way crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Discover and Tick It and severely checking Bonniville and Spitfire Jet. Bonniville and Petite Mamselle collided approaching the second turn. Bonniville checked off the heels of Petite Mamselle on the second turn and stumbled as a result checking Sunlit Ahoy. Dyna Valenski faltered in the back straight and subsequently tailed off. Spitfire Jet checked off the heels of Tick It approaching the home turn and contacted the rail soon after.
Bonniville was vetted following the Event and Dr. Narelle Cribb, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left thigh. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Cribb, the Stewards will stand Bonniville down from racing for 3 days.
Spitfire Jet was vetted following the Event and found to be sore in the left monkey muscle. Spitfire Jet will be stood down from racing for 3 days.
Dyna Valenski was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Cribb reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left femur. Dyna Valenski will be stood down from racing for 28 days.
