Issi Aussie and Just Under collided on the second turn. Just Under raced wide in the home straight. Latrobe Storm was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alistair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle muscle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Latrobe Storm down from competing for 7 days. Just Under was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Smith reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right shoulder. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards wuill stand Just Under down from competing for 5 days. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Kevin Ward, regarding the manner in which Just Under raced approaching the second turn. Proven Titan was also vetted and no apparent injury was detected.

Darla, Dubai Flex and Flying Daggers were slow out. Darla and Dubai Flex collided soon after the start. Free Loader and Greywinds Raven collided approaching the second turn. Dubai Flex checked off the heels of Darla on the second turn. Free Loader and Grambo Lee collided on the third turn. Free Loader checked off the heels of True Evil approaching the home turn. Stewards fined Trainer, K. Patterson, the sum of $50.00 pursuant to GAR31 for failing to produce the registration papers for Faithful Spike. Hooded Assassin was slow out. Suppression, Billane Boy and Faithful Spike collided soon after the start checking Billane Boy. Suppression and Faithful Spike collided on the first turn checking Faithful Spike. Ceejay's Vixen and Frosty Fruits collided on the first turn. Jimella Lad and Billane Boy collided on the first turn checking Billane Boy. Faithful Spike and Frosty Fruits collided on the second turn severely checking Faithful Spike. Billane Boy and Ceejay's Vixen collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Rock Cool Daddy and Johnnyrosco were slow out. Closing Argument and Junior's Gypsy collided soon after the start. Freycinet, Junior's Gypsy and Creative We Are collided on the first turn. Junior's Gypsy, All Style and Creative We Are collided on the second turn. Johnnyrosco checked off the heels of Freycinet in the back straight. Freycinet, Junior's Gypsy and Johnnyrosco collided on the third turn checking Junior's Gypsy and Johnnyrosco and severely checking Freycinet. Creative We Are checked off the heels of All Style on the home turn.

Trewly Special was slow out. Lord Monelli and Pure Octane collided approaching the finishing line. Swab samples were taken from the field which finished in order as follows: Bond (1st), Trewly Special (2nd), Lord Monelli (3rd) and Pure Octane (4th). Bond ran a new track record time of 29.38.
