Steward's Report
Leefull, Amos Flex and Bombastic Storm were slow out. Leefull and Amos Flex collided soon after the start checking Amos Flex and Bombastic Storm. Cash Up checked off the heels of Leefull approaching the first turn. Superman and Droopy's Puzzle collided on the first turn. Leefull checked off the heels of November Nathan on the first turn. November Nathan faltered on the first turn severely checking Amos Flex, Cash Up and Bombastic Storm; November Nathan subsequently tailed off. Cash Up checked off the heels of Leefull entering the back straight and raced wide as a result.
November Nathan was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand November Nathan down from competing for 21 days.
A swab sample was taken from Closing Argument, the winner of the Event.
