Postman's Mail crossed to the outside soon after the start checking See You Later and November Louis. See You Later galloped on the heels of Aussie Nicky approaching the first turn severely checking Aussie Nicky. Azzaneed Ispeed and Barwidgee John collided on the first turn checking November Louis and Barwidgee John; November Louis raced wide as a result. Postman's Mail raced wide on the first turn. See You Later and Barwidgee John collided on the second turn. November Louis checked off the heels of Aussie Nicky on the third turn checking Barwidgee John. Azzaneed Ispeed and Postman's Mail raced wide on the home turn.
