Pre-race samples were taken from Queen Cleopatra.
Lansley Brian, Majestic Flex and Sand Bag City were slow out. Just Cool and Queen Cleopatra collided soon after the start, Just Cool fell as a result and lost considerable ground. Lansley Brian, Queen Cleopatra and Dyna Kayne collided on the first turn. Ace's Full and Majestic Flex collided on the first turn, Majestic Flex fell as a result. Queen Cleopatra and Sand Bag City collided on the second turn. Ace's Full, Connemara Wish and Lansley Brian collided entering the home straight. Sand Bag City checked off Dyna Kayne in the home straight.
Just Cool was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right stifle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
