Pirie Park was slow out. Pirie Park and Cyclone Babe collided soon after the start. Busy Being Bossy crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Miss Melfi. Miss Melfi and Token Breeze collided at the 300mtr mark. Cyclone Babe checked off the heels of Busy Being Bossy at the 250mtr mark. Cyclone Babe galloped on the heels of Miss Melfi at the 150mtr mark checking Cyclone Babe, Miss Melfi and Busy Being Bossy. Pirie Park, Cyclone Babe, Miss Melfi and Metro Star collided at the 100mtr mark checking Cyclone Babe. Cyclone Babe and Miss Melfi collided approaching the winning post.
