Steward's Report
Mr. Nigel was slow out. Saddles Ablaze, Brother Noomps and Sock It Tumi collided soon after the start. Buster Man, Mr. Nigel and Silver Samurai collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds and Spooky Bear. Saddles Ablaze and Sock It Tumi collided soon after the start. Brother Noomps crossed to the rails at the 200mtr mark. Mr. Nigel and Sock It Tumi collided at the 150mtr mark. Spooky Bear faltered at the 150mtr mark and tailed off as a result. Mr. Nigel and Sock It Tumi collided several times from the 100mtr mark to the winning post.
Spooky Bear was vetted following the event, and after being revetted it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
