Raging Power was slow out. True Or False, Tubby's Boy, Suron Grandoise, Soul On Fire and Blackmore Kid collided soon after the start checking Suron Grandoise and Soul On Fire. Blackmore Kid and Albatus collided at the 320mtr mark. True Or False checked off the heels of Blackmore Kid at the 300mtr mark. Tubby's Boy and Suron Grandoise collided at the 250mtr mark. Blackmore Kid crossed to the outside at the 150mtr mark checking Tubby's Boy.
A sample was taken from Tubby's Boy - the winner of the event.
Albatus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hip and left dew claw, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
